How to choose pregnancy swimsuit, our designer's suggestion!

Hello Marie. Since the Cache Cœur photoshoot, you’ve had your baby. Tell us, how is this new life as a young mum going?

Hello, I’ve now been a young mum for six months. It’s a complete change of lifestyle. I stopped working to stay at home with my little girl, and it certainly isn’t always easy. All the emotions a mother can feel are so intense that they’re almost impossible to explain. I’m no longer just me, now it’s me and my daughter, and believe me, that changes everyday life completely. She follows me everywhere, even to my waxing appointments! I’m truly happy, despite the shorter nights and all the energy it requires.

You are the face of our brand-new swimwear collection. How did you experience the photoshoot?

I was in Croatia when you contacted me about this maternity swimwear photoshoot. I didn’t know the brand yet or its expertise in products for mums-to-be, but I was immediately very enthusiastic about the project. Posing with my little girl was amazing. It was such a wonderful experience, and the team was fantastic, very professional and really lovely. I also had the chance to rediscover my beloved Brittany and discover a maternity and nursing lingerie brand that I would highly recommend.

Can you tell us a few words about this maternity swimwear collection? What do you think about the swimsuits, cuts, colours and fabrics?

I have to admit that, when you’re pregnant, it isn’t easy to find maternity swimwear that combines femininity, glamour and comfort, but this collection really brings all three together. The maternity swimwear collection is absolutely beautiful, and every maternity swimsuit has its own special touch. There is something for everyone, from the one-piece maternity swimsuit to the tankini, and the fabrics are genuinely comfortable to wear. I have to say, Cache Cœur maternity swimsuits really make you feel beautiful. They provide excellent support for the bump, as well as for the bust, which can increase by several cup sizes during pregnancy.

Which swimsuit was your favourite from the new Cache Cœur collection?

Jungle is my favourite maternity swimsuit. I love its chic and colourful look. You can simply add a sarong and leave the top visible to go for lunch on a terrace, for example. One thing is certain: you won’t go unnoticed in this maternity swimsuit.

Do you have any advice for mums-to-be when choosing a maternity swimsuit?

My main advice would be to choose a maternity swimsuit based first and foremost on comfort, because when you feel good in it, you make the swimsuit look even more beautiful.

Now that you’re a young mum, do you have any beauty or fitness tips to share with mums-to-be?

It isn’t always easy to take care of yourself every day when you have a little one to look after, but I always try to continue feeling like a woman and not only a mum. An hour at the gym, a little body moisturiser, some BB cream and I’m good to go. For the luckier ones, a few days at a spa with your baby is absolutely wonderful. There are also places where you can enjoy some pampering while someone looks after your baby.
